Awesome - CTS #82

I finally made a card for fun using the sketch from Case This Sketch. I also was trying to organize my stamps this weekend and found a couple of stamps sets I have never used before. The main Monster image is from Lizzie Anne Designs called Little Monsters and the sentiment is from a stamp and die set from Heidi Swapp called Chat Bubbles.

Get Well Soon

Today I made a simple card for my daughter to give a friend that is sick and in the hospital. Making these card in the last couple of days as made me realize most of my stamps are girly and cute, great for happy times but not so much for sad times.

Comfort

Unfortunately the mother of a good friend of mine passed away, so I made a quick and simple card to give him and his family.

Summer Banner

Hello all, tomorrow is officially the first day o summer so I wanted to finish a Summer banner that I am going to hang on my front door.

Each rectangle is made from medium weight chipboard that is cut to 5 x 6, covered with design paper and card stock and then covered with Matte - Collage Pauge by Alleene's. I decorated each letter a little differently and then attached the letter panels with Natural 20lb Hemp Cord.

Masculine Birthday - Part 2

I made another masculine card as another option, which my man like better, so I think that we will be using.

Masculine Birthday

I had to make a masculine card for a friend/neighbour that is turning 60 and I find masculine cards the hardest to make.

The first thing I did was find a paper pad with more masculine colours and then I found some dies and the rest is history.

Purple Flowers

I decided to make a card inspired by a card made this past Friday by Kristina Werner of kwernerdesign.

I stamped the Hero Arts stamp in Versamark on 110lb card stock, which measured 4 1/4 x 11 and was scored at 5 1/2, and embossed it with detail white embossing powder.

Although I did not use water-colour paper I still water coloured the image using distress ink pads and the Tim Holtz detail water brush. I like how it turned out but not as much as Kristina's card of course. I think I'll give it another go soon using water-colour paper next time.

I finally made a card this week. This time I used the sketch from My Favorite Things. I used a new to me Pure Innocence stamp set from My Favorite Things called Feeling Froggy. I paper pieced the girls's overalls but the rest of the image was coloured with Copic Markers.
