You're Bootastic!

Hello again, I think this may officially be my last Halloween card for 2016.

I had so much fun colouring these cute images from the Bootastic stamp set by Mama Elephant, that I even made the background sort of match the images.  When I was colouring the little girl/princess images I thought she would be so cute for a little girl's birthday.

Be Spooky

Hello again my friends, I was lucky enough to get a chance to make another card today. This time I broke out the Bootastic stamp set and matching dies from Mama Elephant.

The background was made by masking off a circle for the moon, and then using distress ink for the sky.  Once I peeled off the mask I coloured some blobs on the moon with C00 and Colorless Blender to give the moon some more detail.  It's very subtle but I think makes a different in real life.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

Stamps: Mama Elephant - Bootastic
Dies: MFT Stamps - Blueprints 13 and Grassy Fields,  Lifestyle Crafts - Nesting Circles (Moon Mask),  Mama Elephant - Bootastic
Inks: MFT Stamps - Black Licorice Hybrid Ink,  Versafine - Onyx Black,  Distress Inks - Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet

Batty Without You

Hello my friends, I hope you are having a good weekend so far.

I started this card using the Hero Arts, Bat Background stamp I bought a few years ago.  I wanted to use it as the background for my card.  I then used the Leafy Backdrop - Landscape die from Lawn Fawn and trimmed out the tree only.  The ground was made by cutting a couple of hills, using the Stitched Hillside Borders from Lawn Fawn..  I built up the ground so the cut out tree would reach the top of the bat panel.

I then stamped, coloured and fussy cut out the Vampire cage from the Frightful Friends stamp set from MFT Stamps.

Other then putting everything together, the last thing I did was added the sentiment by stamping it is Versamark ink and embossing it with Snow Detail embossing powder.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

Stamps: Hero Arts - Bat Background,  MFT Stamps - Frightful Friends
Dies: MFT Stamps - Blueprints 13,  Lawn Fawn - Leafy Tree Backdrop-Landscape,  Stitched Hillside Borders
Inks: MFT Stamps - Black Licorice Hybrid Ink,  Versafine - Onyx Black,  Versamark
Copic Markers: E11, YG00, V12, V15, V17, C5, C7, C9, Y35
Other: Recollections - Card Stock,  Foam Tape,  Snow Detail Embossing Powder,  Sakura - Black Gel Pen

Treat or Treat

Hello my friends and T.G.I.F.  I can't believe in just a few days it will be Halloween. I am trying to make a few more Halloween card before the day.

For this card I again used the Ghostly Greetings stamp set from Simon Says Stamp, which I stamped, coloured and fussy cut out.

The background was made my running a piece of black card stock through my Vagabond machine in the Cobwebs embossing Texture Fade by Sizzix/Tim Holtz.  I then used a distress tool and hero Arts - Unicorn pigment ink to sponge over the raised webs to give them more definition.

The sentiment is from the Trick or Treat stamp set and matching dies, also from Simon Says Stamp.  I went over the black ink with clear Wink of Stella brush marker and finished off the card by adding a few sequins.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

Be a Wright Back

Hello again my friends, I'm so happy that I had a chance to make another card using the Leafy Tree Backdrop die. This die is of course perfect for fall cards, which I defiantly want to make very soon.

Again I inked up some white card stock with distress ink, sprayed it with water and blotted it with a paper towel.  I then splattered the background with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels, which in real life adds a bit of glitter in the sky.

The cute witch is from the Witch Way Is The Candy stamp set and the tombstones are from Grave Situation which are both from MFT Stamps.  The spider hanging from the tree is form Lawn Fawn's Booyah stamp set.

Ghostly Witch

Hello my friends, I hope you are having a good weekend.  I was so excited to receive some happy mail from Scrapbookpal.com on Friday, which included the Leafy Tree Backdrop - Landscape from Lawn Fawn.  Unfortunately we lost power for the whole day and since my cutting machine is a Vagabond and needs electricity to work, I could play with my new die.

Now that I have had a chance to play a bit, I think I am in love with the die and would love the portrait version as well.

For my first card, using this die, I cut it from some 110lb black card stock.  I also cut a piece of while card stock for the background, masked off a circle for a moon, and used distress ink to make the sky.  I then removed the mask and inked the moon with distress ink, and then sprayed the whole background with water and blot it with a paper towel.

I cut out a strip of the same back card stock with MFT Stamps' Grassy Fields die and another with the  Iron Fence punch by Martha Stewart.  For the cute Ghost Witch I combined the ghost and hat from the Booyah stamp set and the Broom from the Critters In Costume stamp set which are both from Lawn Fawn.

I'm pretty happy with how the card turned out.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

Stamps: Lawn Fawn - Booyah, Critters In Costume
Dies: Lawn Fawn - Leafy Tree Backdrop-Landscape,  MFT Stamps - Grassy Fields,  Lifestyle Crafts - Nesting Circles (for the moon mask)
