Best Witches

Hello my friends,  I can't believe it's Monday again.  I seem to be a broken record but I made a card today using another retired Pure Innocence stamp set from MFT Stamps.  This time is is the Litte Witch set which I coloured with Copics and paper pieced.  My ScanNCut is great for cutting out my stamp, especially the ones that came out before matching dies were a thing.

I actually used a black card base for a change and finished the inside of the card by adding some cream cardstock, that I stamped in orange with the same witch, so that you can use any pen to add a message.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

Stamps: MFT Stamps - Pure Innocence-Little Witch
Dies: MFT Stamps - Mini Tab Quartet
Inks: MFT Stamps : Black Licorice Hybrid Ink,  Versafine - Onyx Black,  Distress Ink - Black Soot, Hero Arts - Orange Soda Shadow Ink
Copic Markers: Skin - E11, E33, V15, R20  Broom - YR20, YR24, E23, E27  Hair - E35, E37  Orange - YR15, YR18  Black - C5, C7, C9  Yellow - Y21, Y35
Design Paper: My Mind's Eye - Haunted 6x6 paper pad
Other: Recollections - Card Stock,  Foam Tape

Thank you so much for dropping by and I hope you come back soon.  Have a great day! kathy

Coffee Bear

Hello my friends and Happy Friday!  Today I decided to make a card for the Fall theme at the Coffee Loving Cardmarkers.

I looked through my stamp sets and decided that one of the bears from the Birthday Bears stamp set from MFT Stamps would be perfect holding a cup of coffee.  I did not have a coffee cup stamp the right size so I drew my own and cut it out to put it in the bear's hand.

I also changed the sentiment to fit the image better and used fall colours to pull it all together.

Here is the card I came up with.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

Stamps: MFT Stamps - Birdie Brown-Birthday Bears,  TPC Studio - Coffee Cafe ( Coffee sentiment )
Dies:  MFT Stamps - Blueprints 13 & 20 and Stitched Oval Stax,  Simon Says Stamp - Stitched Rectangles, Ribbon Banner,  Spellbinders - Classic Ovals Large

Hello again my friends.  I had so much fun making this card.  I used the cute little girl from the new Jumping With Joy stamp set from MFT Stamps.  The sentiment is from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set.  I thought the sentiment was perfect for her because she looks like she holding her arms wide open for the "this" in the sentiment.

Happy Harvest - Addicted To CAS Challenge #96-Harvest

Hello again, I had enough time today to make another card.

This time is for the current challenge at Addicted to CAS, which is the code word Harvest.  Although clean and simple is not my general style, I thought I would try to make a simple but cute card.

For my card, I cut out an oval from a rectangle of masking paper, attached it to my card front panel and then inked the oval with distress inks.

I used the scarecrow image along with a crow and some pumpkins from the Happy Harvest stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

One Sip - MFTWSC297

Hello friends, I hope your having a good day so far.  It's been so quiet in the street with the little neighbourhood children at school this week. I'm hoping that the weather will be nice this weekend so I can see my little friends.

I made a card for the current sketch challenge at MFT Card Challenges. I thought I was actually making a card that would work for their current color challenge as well but when I went to take pictures of the card I realized I forgot to add grey, darn it. Oh well it still works for the sketch challenge.

I used a stamp and die set I haven't used for while as well as a background stamp I have never used before.

I cut the cup out of some smooth card stock, inked it up with Vintage Photo distress ink and then sprayed it with water and dabbed it with a paper towel.  I then put some vintage photo ink onto a acrylic block, added some water and then splattered the "Whip Cream" with a small paint brush dipped into the ink.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

Stamps: MFT Stamps - Stay Cool and Scattered Surface background stamp
Dies: MFT Stamps - Blueprints 20, Cool Cup, Stitched Circle Stax and Mini Tab Quartet
Inks: Distress Ink - Vintage Photo, Versafine - Onyx Black,  Hero Arts - Fresh Peach Shadow Ink
Other: Recollections - Card Stock,  Foam Tape,  Transparency

Hello my friend, I hope you are having a good long weekend. It's been pretty busy, Saturday we went to a wedding and then today, it was pretty much laundry all day but I did sneak in a bit of time to make another Halloween card.

I used the Happy Howloween stamp set from Lawn Fawn to make another card. I like how I coloured these doggies much better.  I am also really enjoying how distress ink looks on smooth white card stock after it's been blended, sprayed with water and blotted.

A Treat Filled Day

Hello my friends, I hope your having a good day so far.

I had a chance to make another card, this time using the Happy Howloween stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I made the sky background by blending Carved Pumpkin and Wilted Violet distress ink onto white card stock and then I sprayed it with water from the Distress Sprayer and then dabbed it with paper towel.

I used the new Stitched Tree Borders dies from Lawn Fawn to make the black hills/trees.  I did try to colour the dogs in two tones with Copic markers like Nichol Spohr did in a recent card but didn't mage to pull it off as well.

Overall, I'm still happy with how the card turned out.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

Stamps: Lawn Fawn - Howloween

Thanks

Hello my friends and welcome to another September.

I made another card using the Thanks A Bushel stamp set from Lawn Fawn.  This time I used coloured pencils to colour the images this time.  I am still debating whether to buy the cheaper Prsimacolor pencils or whether to buy the more expensive smaller set of Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils, so for now I used my Crayola coloured pencils.  I think the images came out quite well considering the pencils are not artist grade.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

Stamps: Lawn Fawn - Thanks A Bushel
Dies: MFT Stamps - Blueprints 13 & Stitched Circle Stax,  Lawn Fawn - Scripty Thanks
Ink: MFT Stamps - Black Licorice Hybrid Ink
Crayola Colored Pencils: Red Orange, Red, Mahogany, Yellow, Golden Yellow, Mango, Lime Green, Yellow Green, Green, Pine Green, Sand, Tan, Light Brown, Brown
Other: Recollections - Card Stock,  Foam Tape,  DCWV - The Burlap Paper Stack 6 x 6
