Happy Mother's Day - MFTWSC382

Hello my friends,  I am finally back with another card.  I used the current sketch from MFT Card Challenges as the layout for my card.

This card was created for my next door neighbour to give to her mother.

I used the Flashy Florals stamps and dies from MFT Stamps as well as the Happy Everything stamp set and the Happy Script die from Mama Elephant.  I cut the happy word die out of pink card stock three times, which I glued on top of each other to add some extra dimension and impact to the die cut.

Below is a list of the supplies I used for my card.

Stamps: MFT Stamps - Flashy Florals,  Mama Elephant - Happy Everything
Dies: MFT Stamps - Flashy Florals and Stitched Scallop Basic Edges,  Mama Elephant - Happy Script
Inks:Hero Arts - Bubble Gum, Red Royal, Cup O'Joe, Lime Green, Field Greens
Other: Recollections - 110lb White and Pink card stocks,  Neat and Tangled - Pink Lemonade Sequin Mix,  Foam Tape

Thank you so much for dropping by and I hope you have a wonderful day! Kathy

Butterfly Everywhere

Hello friends and welcome back.  I finally had a play with the April 2018 Monthly Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp, which includes the amazing Beautiful Day stamp set.

For all of my cards I coloured the butterflies with my Copic markers.  On a couple of cards I popped up the butterflies with foam tape and on the other I just glued down the centre of the butterflies and bent up their wings to add dimension to the cards.

For my first card I coloured the butterfly and then covered it with glossy accents, since that particular butterfly reminds me of stained glass.

Legends - Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #26

Hello my friends and welcome back.  Today I am sharing another batch of cards I created for the "Card Sets" challenge at Lawn Fawnatics.

For this card set I used the Loveable Legends stamp set from Lawn Fawn and created four cards.  I decided not to add a sentiment to the card front but added several different flag banners to add some interest.

For all four cards, I cut a piece of light blue card stock with a stitched circle die and then added a wave layer cut from velum, and a few white clouds.  I tucked the Loch Ness Monster and the Kracken under the velum layer and popped up the top portion of their bodies with foam tape to and some dimension.

I think these cards would make perfect cards for boys and girls.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

Stamps: Lawn Fawn - Loveable Legends

Hey, Birthday Girl!

Welcome back and to the first week of April.  Today I am sharing a card I created using lots of MFT Stamps' products including the Pure Innocence - Birthday Girl stamp set.

I paper pieced the girl's dress with some paper from the MFT Stamps Plaid Patterns 6x6 paper pack and used Copic markers to colour the rest of her.

The oval background was created by cutting a piece of white card stock with the largest die from the Stitched Ovals Stax.  Then I used the Radiating Rays stencil with the Wilted Violet distress oxide ink for the top of the oval and Twisted Citron distress oxide ink for the bottom of the oval.  The inked background oval was framed with some turquoise card stock cut using the largest die from the Stitched Oval Scallop Frames die-namics.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.
