Blowing You A Kiss - MFTWSC422

Hello my friends, I hope you are staying warm and safe.  I am lucky to live on the west coast of Canada, where we are having clear and not too cold weather.

Today I am here to share a card I created for the current sketch challenge at MFT Card Challenges.

Looking at this sketch, I wasn't sure what I was going to do at first but then I decided to use the stripes for my sentiment.

The background was created by cutting a piece of 110lb white card stock with the largest die from Blueprints 12 die-namics.  I inked upped the panel with Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks.

Below is a list of the supplies I used for my card.

Stamps: MFT Stamps - Pure Innocence-Blowing Kisses
Dies: MFT Stamps - Blueprints 13 & 27,  Lifestyle Crafts - Nesting Ovals
Inks: Simon Says Stamp - Intense Black,  Versafine - Onyx Black,  Distress Oxide - Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry
Copic Markers: Skin - E00, E11, E13, R20  Hair - E21, E25, E27  Dress - RV10, RV21, RV23  Shoes & Belt - C1, C3, C5
Other: Recollections - 100lb White and Grey card stocks,  Spectrum Noir - 100lb Ultra Smooth Premium White card stock

I hope you like my card and maybe get a chance to join the challenge yourself.  Have a wonderful day! Kathy

You Have My Heart - MFTWSC420

Hello and welcome, I am back today to share a card I created using the current sketch from the MFT Card Challenges.

When I first saw the sketch I was sure what I wanted to do, so I looked at the cards that other people had created for the challenge.  I decided to create a Valentine's Day card, this time using the Pure Innocence - Heart Banner stamp set and matching die from MFT Stamps.

Because this set is an older one from MFT Stamps and no longer available, the die is solid, so I had to cut out the image and then stamp the girl onto the die cut.  I coloured everything on her, except her dress, with Copic markers and paper pieced her dress using the Yours Truly 6x6 paper pad from Echo Park.  I also used some different designs from the same paper pad to create the stripes on the card front.

The girl was popped up on foam tape and the finishing touch was a few hearts that I cut using a die from the Tag Builder Blueprints 3 which is also from MFT Stamps.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

Stamps - MFT Stamps - Pure Innocence-Heart Banner
Dies: MFT Stamps - Pure Innocence-Heart Banner and Tag Builder Blueprints 3
Inks: Simon Says Stamp - Intense Black,  Versafine - Onyx Black
Copic Markers: Skin - E00, E11, E13, R20  Hair - E21, E25, E27  Hearts - R24, R27, R29, R81, R83, R85  Soxks - C00, C1  Shoes - C5, C7, C9
Other:  Recollections - 110lb White card stock,  Echo Park - Yours Truly 6x6 paper pad, Foam Tape

I hope you like my card and I also hope you have a wonderful day! Kathy

Lots of Love - MFTWSC419

Hello my friends, today I am here to share a card I created using the current sketch from MFT Card Challenges.

For my card I used the Pure Innocence - Blowing Kisses stamp set from MFT Stamps.  I stamped her onto a piece of white card stock that I cut using the Stitched Circle Stax dies, also from MFT Stamps.

I coloured her with Copic markers and paper pieced her dress with seem design paper from the Blush 6x6 paper pad from My Mind's Eye, which I also used as the background on the card.

I cut a piece of pink card stock with the Stitched Mini Scallop Circle Stax dies to layer behind the white stitched circle.  I popped the whole circle element onto the card front with foam tape.

Below is  list of the supplies I used.

Stamps: MFT Stamps - Pure Innocence-Blowing kisses
Dies: MFT Stamps - Stitched Circle Stax and Stitched Mini Scallop Circle Stax
Inks: Simon Says Stamp - Intense Black,  Versafine - Onyx Black
Copic Markers: Skin - E00, E11, E13, R20  Hair - E23, E25, E27  Shoes - R81, R83  Shadow on dress - C00, C1

Card Set

Hello my friends and Happy New Year!  I hope your first week of 2019 has been good.

This week I was looking at all my craft supplies and found a few packages of Cards & Envelopes that I had bought along time ago on sale at Michaels.  Because the cards are 5" x 6.5" and much thinner card stock then I use now, I hadn't touched them in a long time.

I decided that I would make some cards and a box to hold them to give as a gift to a very sweet older lady in out neighbourhood.  I hoping that she will be able to use them. In order to create the box to hold the cards I used this Card Box video from Catherine Pooler.

I ended up making 10 cards using a selection of stamp and dies from WPlus9 and MFT Stamps.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

Stamps: Wplus9 - Summer Blooms, Fresh Cut Florals and Freehand Florals  MFT Stamps - Big Greetings, Cup Of Tea and Flashy Florals
Dies: Wplus9 - Fresh Cut Florals and Freehand Florals  MFT Stamps - Stitched Oval Stax, Many Thanks, Tea Party, Blueprints 27, Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window, Stitched Blooms, Layered Leaves, Thanks & Hello, Happy Birthday, Flashy Florals  Simon Says Stamp - Scallop Stitches  Spellbinders: Floral Ovals
Inks: Hero Arts - Soft Pink, Bubble Gum, Ultra Pink, Soft Vanilla, Butter Bar, Soft Cantaloupe, Dark Quartz, Soft Sky, Cornflower, Navy, Lime Green and Soft Olive
Other: Recollections - 5" x 6.5" card bases, 110lb Pink, White, Grey, Green & Teal card stock

Thank you so much for dropping by.  I hope you have a lovely day, Kathy
