Bunny Ears

Another week down and February is almost at a close. I have been having fun joining in on Kathy Racoosin's The Daily Marker 30 Day Color Challenge taking place from February 1 to March 1, 2016.

I haven't always made a card, but I have tired to colour something every day.  I have done quite well and have only missed two days of colouring.

For today, the 27th day I have coloured the cute Pure Innocence girl from the I'm All Ears stamp set from MFT Stamps and even made it into a card.

Here is a picture of the little girl, I used colours that were already on my desk, so I stuck to purple for her dress & bow.

I then used a stitched rectangle die to make it ready to be mounted.

Here is the finished card.

Below is a list of the supplies I used.

Samps: MFT Stamps - Pure Innocence-I'm All Ears
Dies: Simon Says Stamp - Stitched Rectangles,  MFT Stamps - Blueprints 13 & 20
Ink: MFT Stamps - Black Licorice Hybrid Ink,  Memento - Grape Jelly
Design Paper: Echo Park - Springtime 6x6 paper pad

Happy Easter

Hope your having a great day so far. We have been very lucky and have had pretty good weather this week, it's feeling like spring!  Woot, woot!

Today I made an Easter card using another new stamp set from Lawn Fawn. This time I used the Chirpy Chirp Chirp stamp set. It is so adorable and I love the "translations" of the main sentiment.

It looks pretty simple but there was lots of masking to make my scene and to have the grass behind all of the other images.

Here is the initial scene.

Once I added the sentiment, I thought the scene needed something else, so I added a butterfly and it's trail to make it complete.

I am really happy with how it turned out and here is a picture of the finished card.

Below is a list of the supplies I used to make this card.

Stamps: Lawn Fawn - Chirpy Chirp Chirp
Dies: MFT Stamps - Blueprints 13 & 20
Ink: MFT Stamps - Black Licorice Hybrid Ink,  Hero Arts - Lime Green Shadow Ink,  Memento Ink - Grape Jelly,  Versafine - Onyx Black

Pedal On

Happy Friday!! The week is going by so quick. Yesterday I coloured the image from the WTG - Enjoy The Ride stamp set from MFT Stamps for Day 4 of #thedailymarker30day challenge.

I had an idea of the design paper I wanted to use on my card so I coloured the image to go with the paper.

On the finished card I ended up going over the tire with a Tuxedo Black - Memento marker,  to make the tire darker, which you can see in the finished card. I also popped up the coloured image to give the card more dimension.

Here are a couple of pictures of the finished card.
