Happy Birthday Elena

I was so excited the other day to receive my first order from Papertrey Ink. I have seen some great cards made with their stamps and finally placed an order. For this card I used the stamp set The Swwet Life along with the matching dies. I love the two/three step stamping that gives o much dimension to the flowers.

Happy first day of spring. We are lucky and it's nice and sunny here, a little cool but very nice.

Below is another card I made using the Hero Arts stamp set "Sew Artsy". I paper pieced the dress form and used a sentiment from the Crafty Secrets stamp set "Sew Special". The card is simple but I like the colours and the text paper background.

Today I broke out an Older Hero Arts stamp set that I have never used. I was watching Vicky Papaioannou (Clip-N-Cuts) youtube channel and saw a card she made on May 3, 2010. It inspired me to finally break out the stamp set and make a card.

Hello Spring - DD#94

The first day of spring is this Thursday, I thought I would make a card to celebrate.

For this card I used the Colour Challenge over at Dynamic Duos. Dynamic Duos #94 I did not add the optional element of dry embossing. I did try something different that seems to be popular right now and I inlayed the hello word die into the design paper.

I was looking through some of my supplies and came across an old stamp set "cakes" from the Basic Grey - Nook and Pantry Collection from 2009. This was before they joined with Hero Arts to make their stamps.
